When I was a kid, the satirical magainze ‘Mad’ was my bible. And inside this satirical bible was a series of features titled "The Shadow Knows" in cartoon form. The photos depicted people in a normal setting, while the shadows cast on the wall depicted what they (or one or more of the people shown) really wanted to do in that situation. Such as kicking the crap out of the guy winning all the money in the photo below...
