Giving Up Is Not An Option For Me

Sometimes I wonder if Dowd has ever read a history book? Appeasing an aggressor has never resulted in a lasting peace. "oh," you say, "but the Iranians are not the aggressors!" Yeah, right. It was some dissatisfied ole American ladies in Tennis shoes who took over the embassy in Tehran and held American civilians hostage until Ronnie got elected and said he was coming after them.

Do I want war with Iran? Hell no..no sane person wants to go to war. But we have two choices as I see it..maybe three. One is to wait until Iran has the nukes and uses them to push the price of crude oil so high it ruins the economies of the free world..or at least what's left of it. The second choice is to hit them now and hit them hard..where it hurts..in their oil fields. What the fuck..if there is gonna be a shortage of crude oil then lets have the shortage on our terms and not theirs. And of course there is always that third choice...the one that left wing bitches such as Dowd seems to espouse..we can always just give up.

The third choice is not an option for me nor millions of other men and women who know that freedom is never free...
