I messaged before about Nigel Barker's dismissal from America's Next Top Model a few months ago. In a bid to attract new viewers who aren't bored to tears by the overly familiar system of ANTM by now - Tyra issued some fairly harsh changes to the show which included hiring Bryan Boy (!??!?) and dismissing noted fashion photographer - Nigel Barker.
But Nigel has issued a fairly interesting parting shot which is kinda brilliant. He has signed up for the face. Incase your wondering what this is - this is new TV program designed by Naomi Campbell which will focus on trying to find a new model to front a major campaign. She is being joined by a series of other models which put Tyra's Bryan Boy casting job to shame! Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova will join Campbell in the race for a face!
The formula is pretty standard and much like ANTM but then so is the Voice like the X Factor. I can't imagine Tyra getting too worried but seriously, time will tell as the Voice has become more interesting the X Factor. ANTM does need shake ups and there have been some brilliant moves over the years - like hiring Andre Leon Talley, and some bad moves such as not including Nigel or Miss J. Miss J is bloody brilliant and one of the reasons I watched the show. Now we just have Tyra Banks reminding us that she modelled once and that she should be on ADHD medication.
