In Moscow 2009: What's with these Russians?

I just watched the vid for the 2nd Russian rehearsal and they have now the videoclip behind Anastasia where she is singing along with herself until she breaks to tears and starts to grow old and so on... plus she is very taken by her performance and looks rather shaken in the end. One question pops into my mind: Are they doing something we still haven't understood? I must admit I was rather
