Middletown woman wearing no pants found hiding in pharmacy bushes - Hamilton Journal News

MIDDLETOWN — 

A Middletown woman who was found without pants on and hiding in bushes at a pharmacy is scheduled to appear Monday for a pre-trial hearing in Middletown Municipal Court.

Middletown police were called just before noon Nov. 24 to the CVS Pharmacy, 2424 N. Verity Parkway, about a suspicious woman trying to get in to customers’ vehicles and “acting bizarre.”

A manager pointed police where the woman was last seen and officers found her hiding in the bushes behind the business. Police said the woman was not wearing pants and was displaying symptoms of methamphetamine use. Those symptoms included lesions on her body from scratching and pulling and she could not sit still, according to the report.

Police said Miranda Becker, 29, denied using any type of methamphetamines.

Becker was transported by police to Kettering Health Network Middletown for treatment.

After being released from the medical facility, Becker was taken to the Middletown City Jail where police found a box with a used syringe in her purse along with a tourniquet and a small metal cap, according to the report. Becker was also found with fresh track marks on her left arm.

Police charged Becker with possession of a drug abuse instrument, a second-degree misdemeanor; disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, both fourth-degree misdemeanors.

Becker appeared in Middletown Municipal Court on Nov. 26 and was released on her own recognizance pending a pre-trial hearing at 10 a.m.
