Black-ish may develop a second spin-off series, this one about the adolescence of Tracee Ellis Ross' character Rainbow. A flashback Black-ish episode about Rainbow's early years is in the works and will be shot next month, and Deadline reports that a whole new show could result.
The first spin-off of Black-ish, a Freeform show entitled Grown-ish, has been on for two seasons and sees Yara Shahidi reprise her role as Zoey Johnson. Zoey is the daughter of Rainbow 'Bow' Johnson and her husband Andre 'Dre' Johnson, who is played on both shows by Anthony Anderson.
The Deadline report on the possible Bow spin-off took pains to note that no plans for the potential show have been formally agreed to yet.
