JAY-Z is involved in Colin Kaepernick's attempt to return to the NFL

A few months ago, JAY-Z surprised everyone after joining the NFL for social justice campaigns and entertainment production. Some thought Jay was abandoning everything he advocated so that he could approach a high check. Obviously, this was the reaction of the Twitter crowd that typically does not tolerate such things.

Today, it was revealed that Hov is already using his partnership for good, as he was one of the behind-the-scenes people who were pushing NFL to give Colin Kaepernick a private training with potential teams interested in his services. The information was released by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, who found from league sources that Hov was stirring chopsticks behind the scenes.

“I was also told that JAY-Z - who works with the NFL on some social justice initiatives - was involved in that and took that idea to some extent,” said Rapoport.

Colin Kaepernick recently expressed his gratitude for this next opportunity, saying, "I've been fit and ready for this for 3 years, can't wait to see coaches and GMs on Saturday." The question is whether or not this workout will result in an NFL opportunity for Colin, but it certainly won't hurt.
